sigh...

My new little fetus has made me pretty miserable. I'm not so good at being prego, but I'm trying to be. So far: three hospital visits and 20lbs lost. I feel like I should be on some sort of weight loss program, but gotta say, barfing up everything you eat (and everything you don't eat---bleh), isn't the best way to maintain health. I try and stay so busy that I don't remember to barf, it helps some days and not others.

Claire is having a blast with her daddy. She and he have developed a way to toss a ball. Basically, Nick stands at the bottom of the stairs and Claire throws things to him and he to her. I often find piles of things at the bottom of the stairs thanks to this arrangement. I guess practice makes perfect!

Claire is finally getting her eye teeth! She's been pretty crabby with these. Hope they come in fast!

Darn! Being sick is the worst-- I hope you and your docs can figure out how to get you well soon!

Hi, I had severe morning sickness, which for me was all day sickness. I have a cure for you! After I started doing it I had no more morning sickness. I still felt nauseous every once in a while but no puking! Take half a unisom tablet and a sixth of a vitamin b6 tablet before bed. It works! It is perfectly safe. You can check with your doctor, but my ob said it was safe. You can take it anytime of the day, but before bed worked best for me. You can check my blog, my son is perfectly strong and healthy. He is 8 months old, 19.4 pounds, and 30 inches tall! I did this everyday into the second trimester just to be safe. It also helps with pregnancy insomnia. Hope you feel better.

Deb, congrats on the new baby! Morning sickness is the worst. I was really sick with my first one...did the whole hospital IV and weight loss thing too. Unisom and B6 did absolutely nothing for me though. I lived on Zofran for months and it was a blessing but it doesn't work for everyone. I hope it passes soon for you and that your doctor can find something that works for you. It's so hard to take care of another kid when you're feelin pukey! Wish you the best!
